CIGWELD Castcraft 100 4.0mm is a premium nickel cast iron welding electrode designed for professional repair, maintenance and reclamation of cast iron components. This listing is for ONE 5kg pack of 4.0mm Castcraft 100 electrodes.

CIGWELD Castcraft 100 produces a soft, stable arc with minimal penetration and low spatter. The ductile nickel-based weld deposit is readily machinable and provides a good colour match to many common cast irons. Its excellent wetting characteristics make it suitable for demanding repair work where a smooth weld deposit and reliable fusion are required.

Typical applications include engine blocks, cylinder heads, differential housings, gearboxes, pump housings, machine housings and cast iron pulleys. The CIGWELD Castcraft 100 4.0mm electrode is 350mm long and has a recommended welding current range of 100–190 amps. It can be operated using AC with a minimum 45V open-circuit voltage or DC+ polarity.

Each 5kg pack contains approximately 105 electrodes based on the manufacturer specification of approximately 21 rods per kilogram.
