CIGWELD Castcraft 100 is a premium nickel cast iron welding electrode designed for professional repair, maintenance and reclamation of cast iron components. This product is supplied as one 2.2kg pack of 3.2mm welding electrodes.

CIGWELD Castcraft 100 produces a soft, stable welding arc with minimal penetration and low spatter. Its nickel-based weld deposit is ductile and readily machinable, making it an excellent choice for cast iron repairs where machining or finishing may be required after welding.

Typical applications include engine blocks, cylinder heads, pump housings, differential housings, gearboxes, machine housings, cast iron pulleys and other general cast iron components. The 3.2mm electrode has a length of 350mm and operates within a recommended welding current range of approximately 80–140 amps.

CIGWELD Castcraft 100 can be used with suitable AC welding machines or DC+ polarity. The electrode provides excellent wetting characteristics and reliable fusion for professional workshop, engineering and maintenance applications.
