The ESAB OK AristoRod 12.50 in 1.6mm (1/16″) is the heavy hitter of the copper-free solid wire range. Engineered for high-current, high-deposition welding on thick-plate structural steel and heavy machinery, this 18kg spool features ESAB’s Advanced Surface Characteristics (ASC).
Because it is non-copper coated, it eliminates the metallic “dusting” that causes liner friction and contact tip failure, ensuring a smooth, uninterrupted feed even at the high speeds required for 1.6mm wire.
